Scotts’ Around the World Travels
Perhaps I can persuade Scott to send me a little bio of himself so for now I will share a little information as to how I know Scott.
Scott was a childhood friend of my sons, Jason and Matt, and still remain best friends to this day. Given some time, I WILL find some childhood photos to share. For now, I have some photos from recent visits because he has been living in Hawaii, Maui for the past several years.
Scott has called me Mom ever since he was a little guy without the beard (just wait until I find those photos!). To me, he is my third son and when he was a child growing up and living down the street a few houses from us, would not hesitate just to walk through our door unannounced and rummage through the cupboards and fridge for food just like my own two natural sons.
And with the saying “Two heads are better than one”, you can only imagine what their THREE little heads cooked up during their childhood days. Even though they were inseparable in their youth, all three have since gone in very different directions in their lives. Separate as they are right now, they still make time to touch base whenever and wherever they can and one of those times was at Jason’s 30th birthday party almost three years ago.
I have been a working artist since 1972 and now I am embarking on a new phase in my career, Web page & Blog design. Needing the practice, I suggested to Scott that I create a blog for him since he will be traveling till the end of 2011 or thereabouts. He said go for it and thus, Scott’s Great Adventure Blog was launched.
Have almost as much fun virtual traveling with Scott in the safety of your computer location as he has in his real life experience of seeing the world and all it has to offer.

Peace to you brother Scott. The California Tate family is enjoying hearing about your travels
